The Examination Branch at Spectrum Institute of Management and Computer Science (SIMCS) plays a crucial role in upholding academic standards, ensuring the fair and timely conduct of assessments for all programs as per Osmania University.

Objectives

  • To coordinate all internal and external examinations in a systematic and transparent manner.
  • To ensure fair evaluation processes in compliance with university regulations.
  • To provide timely communication and support to students regarding results, revaluation, and supplementary exams.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Assessments

  • Conducting Mid-Term Exams and Internal Tests for each semester.
  • Evaluation of assignments, seminars, and practical exams.
  • Maintenance of internal marks and academic performance records.
  • Maintenance of internal marks and academic.

University Examinations

  • Coordination with Osmania University for Semester End Exams (SEE).
  • Distributing hall tickets and seating arrangements.
  • Safe handling of question papers and answer scripts.
  • Ensuring adherence to UGC/OU examination norms and guidelines.

Results & Certifications

  • Publishing internal marks and university results as per schedule.
  • Issuing provisional certificates, consolidated memos, and transcripts.
  • Facilitating the degree application process after course completion.

Revaluation & Supplementary Exams

  • Assisting students in applying for revaluation, photocopy of answer scripts, and challenge evaluation./li>
  • Providing clear schedules and support for supplementary examinations.
  • Maintenance of internal marks and academic.

Academic Calendar (Examinations)

  • Mid-term Tests: Twice per semester/li>
  • Semester End Exams: As per OU Academic Calendar
  • Practical Exams: Scheduled before theory exams
  • Result Declaration: Within 4–6 weeks after exams

    • Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible for exams.
    • Hall Ticket & ID Card are mandatory for entry into examination halls.
    • Acts of malpractice or misconduct will be strictly dealt with as per university regulations.
    • Late application for exams may attract a late fee penalty.
